Our Approach
Our approach is rooted in the belief that nature, environmental education, media, and wellbeing can come together to create meaningful learning experiences for children and communities. We want children not only to play in and enjoy nature, but also to understand it, respect it, care for it, and become active participants in shaping their own stories and futures. We believe every child has the right to meaningful, inclusive, and inspiring education.
We bridge research and hands-on learning, transforming knowledge into practical experiences that take place outdoors and connect children with the real world. Through exploration, creativity, play, and discovery, we encourage curiosity and help children develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their communities, and the natural world.
Our programs support children in developing confidence, resilience, collaboration, and critical thinking.

We also recognise the growing influence of media and technology in children’s lives. Through media education, we encourage children to become thoughtful and creative participants rather than passive consumers, developing the skills to question, create, communicate, and tell their own stories. We believe learning is most powerful when it is active, engaging, and connected to real experiences, when children are encouraged to ask questions, experiment, make mistakes, and find their own ways of understanding the world.

We work closely with schools, educators, researchers, families, and communities to expand access to nature-based and environmental education. By creating inclusive spaces where children can learn, explore, create, and grow together, we aim to strengthen communities and nurture a generation that is connected to nature, aware of the world around them, and empowered to care for it.
